The Experience

Explore Southern Tunisia in its most beautiful season and journey through the heart of Amazigh Culture. We will have the privilege of being accompanied by chef Marjane Bouazdi, who will draw inspiration from the region’s rich culinary traditions to create a gourmet menu. Together with a local host, she will prepare a series of unique four-hands dinners, celebrating the flavors, stories, and heritage of the region.

Your Journey, Day by Day

Day 1

Living History: Tataouine

Your journey begins with an invitation, not simply a discovery. You arrive in a vibrant Amazigh village, still inhabited by its local community. Here, you are not just coming to observe a destination — you are invited to step into its daily life, listen to its stories, and discover a culture that continues to thrive through generations. You will meet your hosts and embrace the rhythm of life in one of the last inhabited Amazigh villages in North Africa. Share simple moments, meaningful conversations, and experience a form of hospitality passed down through centuries. On your second day, enjoy an exclusive dinner thoughtfully created by Chef Marjane Bouazdi together with a guardian of local culinary traditions. A first gastronomic immersion where every flavour tells a story of Southern Tunisia.

Day 3

The Memory of the Mountains: Toujane & Matmata

Journey into the heart of the Dahar, a mountain range shaped by ancient caravan routes and generations of Amazigh communities. Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Toujane and the troglodyte dwellings of Matmata, remarkable examples of how communities have adapted to their environment over centuries. You will take the time to meet and exchange with those who continue to preserve the ancestral traditions of these mountain villages. Over two days, immerse yourself in the world of Amazigh craftsmanship in Toujane. Discover traditional skills passed down from generation to generation and meet the artisans who continue to keep this heritage alive.

Day 5

The Privilege of Silence: The Tunisian Sahara

Leave the mountains behind for a two-night immersion in the heart of the desert. Here, time slows down. The true privilege lies in what disappears: no crowds, no noise, no constant connection. Only the vastness of the desert, the light of the sun, and the profound silence. You will reconnect with raw nature and share authentic moments around the fire, beneath a sky full of stars, guided by stories and meaningful conversations. Live a timeless escape in a desert camp designed around simplicity, comfort, and disconnection. An experience where you rediscover what truly matters: time, space, and presence.

Day 7

The Oasis of Tamerza: Between Heritage and Renewal

Continue your journey towards southwestern Tunisia for a three-night stay in Tamerza. Discover a breathtaking landscape where dramatic desert cliffs meet lush palm groves, natural springs, and oasis villages filled with history. You will explore the living heritage of mountain oasis communities, their traditions, and their unique way of life. During the date harvest season, discover another side of Southern Tunisia through the gestures, flavours, and traditions that shape local life. Your journey concludes with a culinary experience created by Chef Marjane Bouazdi, celebrating the richness of the region in an exceptional setting overlooking the landscapes of Tamerza.
